PROVENANCE: This is a version of ‘Windsor Bold Condensed’ but the pantograph has followed a different pattern from the original Stephenson Blake cut. It is slightly bolder with altered features. Stephenson Blake cut a version of their ‘Windsor’ in wood by 1910, and the following year saw variants including this ‘Windsor Bold Condensed’.
