PROVENANCE: This font was designed by Herman Ihlenburg for the MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan type foundry in Philadelphia, America c1892. This wooden type version was first cut from a South London manufacturer called Thomas Greaves & S Mason in 1893, later took up Day and Collins.

INCLUDED: 52 individual high-resolution JPG images, featuring two distinct variations of each letter of the alphabet. The first presents a fuller, densely inked print, while the second features a lighter press with uneven pressure, creating a more distressed and characterful appearance. Find out more
